Learn From Past

S.L. Pazsko can be proud of her German heritage, which she wrote about in her Oct. 10 letter to the editor. But she should also be realistic – any culture that forgets its past is condemned to repeat it.
Fortunately, we have not forgotten the millions who were killed under the German regime.
Can Pazsko say Mr. Hitler would have supported a free market? Would he have supported all cultures and ethnicities interacting in a free world in order to feed itself and support the growth of wealth? Is Pazsko aware that free markets and democracies interact peacefully with each other?
For our future, let's face the truth and support a country's positive things but hate the negative. Learn from the past so we can all have a better future.
