The Knights of Columbus Council 11680 from Our Lady Queen of Peace Catholic Church installed new officers for the 2007-'08 fraternal year.
Current officers re-elected for a second one-year term are Kevin McMahon, Financial Secretary; Antonio Alves, Treasurer; Nicholas France, Advocate; and Thomas Cleary, Lecture.
Newly elected officers are David Alves, Grand Knight; George Mountford, Deputy Grand Knight; Joseph Menicola, Chancellor; Raymond Rossi, Warden.
The inside and outside Guards are John D. Poulter, Joseph Tengowski, Denis Magner, and Keith Gosnell. The Trustees are: Edward Gongola, Anthony Nali, and Matthew Higgins.
Founded 125 years ago, the Knights of Columbus is a fraternal benefit society and is the world's largest lay Catholic organization with more than 1.7 million members. In 2006, nationwide members of the Knights of Columbus donated more than 68 million hours of volunteer service for charitable causes and contributed more than $143 million to charity.
