I have to take exception to the concluding line in "Congress should end moral outrage" by Charley Reese.
"May the most brutal and ruthless win" is not an idea that should be tolerated by responsible, compassionate and courageous Americans.
The current situation in Iraq was created by our leaders who were elected by us. Americans cannot walk away from their mistakes in Iraq. We have a responsibility to correct them and make the situation better. To say it cannot be done is never true.
What happened in Southeast Asia after we left Vietnam cannot be allowed to happen in the Middle East. The enemies of free people everywhere are the brutal and ruthless ones intentionally targeting civilians and inciting chaos.
Standing firm against them is our only option!
