They say the eyes are the windows of one's soul.

Having said that, did you notice Petreaus' eyes doing the "jitterbug" when answering the questions?

One thing he didn't say, "I don't recall." He said it was his report, not as Bush wanted from him. Didn't Bush visit him just last week? So much for his soul.

If Petreaus had come back with anything but what he said, he'd be past history. He knows and we know, nothing has changed; in fact, it is getting worse. Count the dead. It is still the oil, stupid.
Iraq never asked us to help them. Don't you think this country needs to start minding its own business?

Turn the tables around, and see how you would like it, if this should happen here. It might, if this arrogance doesn't stop soon. There is no plan for us to leave; as a matter of fact, Bush now plans to build a base on the border of Iran and Iraq. Never asked Congress, or his bosses.

Who told Bush he could go around the world dictating orders? The best is yet to come.
