The owners of the Tampa Bay Rays are all rich Wall Street brokers and don't need our tax money for a new ballpark.
The people of St. Petersburg need to say no and tell the owners to move so we can pick up a new team that can at least show a team that has the spirit to bring better ballplayers and not need to try and bilk the people of the Suncoast for their pockets.
Too often the ball clubs look to the public trough for funds to line their fat pockets. Let them make their money on Wall Street.
