The present times remind some of the Great Depression. Then, families lost their homes and broke up because there were no jobs, no money and no hope.
But why are there so many hands up today?
There are plenty of jobs, lots of money at low interest rates and income is at its highest rate. We have new technology in autos, appliances, energy and medicine and have developed highway infrastructure, housing and travel.
Could it be that capitalism and conservatism has gone too far in controlling our freedom, free trade market and our personal lives?
After 75 years of fighting social government, has it eroded the "government of the people, by the people, for the people"?
