Hudson Seafest Draws Big Crowds

Hudson, FL - Hudson, FL - The 23rd annual Hudson Seafest drew in big crowds Sunday for trademark fish dinners and entertainment.

The Hudson Middle School Jazz Ensemble wowed the crowd under the big-top tent.

Long lines formed to chow down on fish dinners. Cooks Graham Haynes and Brent Postma were among the multitude of volunteers serving up dinners.

Taking in her very first Seafest was 1-year-old Madison Focht, who had been born during the 2006 Seafest. Grandparents Janet and Rick Curran were doting over her Sunday as she observed the sights and sounds.

The annual festival raises money for numerous community projects and scholarships.
