NEW PORT RICHEY, - NEW PORT RICHEY, - The Pasco Building Association is accepting entries from county home builders for its ninth annual 2008 Parade of Homes and Neighborhoods on Parade.
The showcase of residential construction, scheduled for Feb. 9-24, will take place in communities throughout the county.
Connerton-Terrabrook is the main sponsor of the event. Connerton is a 4,800-acre community being developed in north-central Pasco County
The deadline for parade of home entries is Jan. 7, according to Nita Beckwith, the PBA chief executive officer.
The parade is open to PBA member and nonmember building and development firms.

The 2007 parade of homes featured 60 model homes and participation by 25 builders.
"We have had tremendous success in the previous parade of homes by drawing traffic to the models and communities," Beckwith said.
During Neighborhoods on Parade, communities will compete for the Community of the Year Award. Model homes will vie to win the Best Overall Model of the Year Award.
Awards also will be given for best community entrance, best master plan, best streetscape, best amenities, best environmentally sensitive community and, of course, best overall.
With headquarters in New Port Richey, the PBA has more than 350 members. It is one of the largest building-trades organizations in Florida.
